This ring links together websites providing information about guinea pigs as pets. They provide information on breeding and genetics, nutritional needs, health issues, and many other topics. This is an interesting webring to surf because of the wonderful photographs of the different breeds available today. People wanting to get started in this field and those just thinking about getting a pet will enjoy surfing this webring and may find a source for the next guinea pig they purchase.
Something New!
I've created a forum for my rings. A place to ask questions and hopefully get answers about navbar codes or anything else webring related. If you are a member of any of my rings you are welcome to join. And if you have any rings of your own or you have created a new ring you can tell about it here.
The phrase "guinea pig" originated when a tax was imposed on powder for wigs in England to help pay for the war with Napoleon. The list of those who had paid the guinea (one pound, one shilling) was posted on their parish church door. As they were the wealthy of the day, they became known as the guinea pigs.
The difference between friends and pets is that friends we allow into our company, pets we allow into our solitude.
