Ancient Siam
Ancient Siam - Land of the White Elephant & Modern Thailand. All about the Thai and Thailand, including Thai personal homepages. The name of the nation was once Siam, but today it is called Thailand. The white elephant is a symbol of Thailand and means that the monarch is ruling with justice and power, and that there is peace and prosperity. Rulers customarily kept white elephants. The white elephant also figures in the legend of the nation, being associated with the birth of the Buddha.
As with all my rings there are 2 main rules.
1. All sites must be family safe. No porn, no racial or religious hate please.
2. The ring code must be installed on the page you submit.

In Thailand, the left hand is considered unclean, so you should not eat with it. Also, pointing with one finger is considered rude and is only done when pointing to objects or animals, never humans.
In Thailand's history there have been dissensions from time to time, but in general, unity has prevailed.
